We're all just stupid rubes and hayseeds, you see

Obama blames his party's drubbing on his failure to adequately communicate to us dumb hicks out in the sticks (a.k.a. 'Fly Over Country') just exactly how excellently he was managing the country.
"My bad," he says. He tells us that rather than simply keeping his nose to the grindstone and destroying our economy and signaling profound military weakness to our enemies in Iran, North Korea and elsewhere, he should have been taking the time from his destructive schedule, and have been dumbing down his actions, explaining in simple terms to us morons how great his performance was.
We are just too dang stupid to understand how great this man is, you see. We all just fell off of our turnip trucks yesterday, and are just plain dumber than a bag of hammers. 13 Trillion dollars of debt and an unemployment rate that will remain around 10% as far as the eye can see is apparently a rousing, laudable success, according to Barack Obama.
I just can't believe the arrogance of Barack Obama, when he takes a pummeling in the mid term elections the likes of which few of us have ever seen in our lifetimes, and tries to tell us that we all just don't understand.
We understand perfectly what this guy is doing to our country, and we don't like it. Not one bit. We aren't a socialist country now, never have been, nor ever will be. He has it exactly bass ackwards: we are perfectly aware of his damaging, foolish policies and we told him so at the ballot box but he is the one too stupid to see the writing on the wall.
This last election was a referendum on Obama and his policies, pure and simple. No amount of explaining will change that. Obama can explain to us until the cows come home that redistribution of wealth from do'ers to non-doer's is good for everybody, and apparently owes his lack of persuasion that we will never accept that as good policy to the fact that we are all stupid morons.
Wrong. We all most definitely did NOT just fall off the turnip truck. This guy's policies stink, and everyone knows it.

Fredd,,, Some have mentioned this in passing but I take it on a serious note, It is time for impeechment and removal of Hussein Obama as POTHUS.

Besides a Constitutional basis for this which must be met, there is the foundation of this administration putting this country and all of it's citizens on an untenable, unsustainable and very dangerous path towards implosion.

I wouldn't fight you on impeachment, Christopher. I think that the Sestak bribe and a few others like it constitutes a high crime and/or misdemeanor myself (the basis required for impeachment).

Now all we gotta do is wait and see if there's some backbone from the House to do something about this lunatic.

I tend to agree with the supposition, but I don't think Americans are in the mood right now for another impeachment circus. I think circus is the right word because first, charges have to be substantiated, and even if they are we'll all be a bunch of racists for trying to keep the black man down.

The GOP needs to focus on fixing the economy. If they can do that, it will be a GOP win in 2012 ... if not, get ready for Pelosi: the sequel. I suspect Peolosi is planning on that, evidenced by the way she's positioning herself in the minority party.

Watch out, GOP ... get your crap together!

Even with a 30 % approval, you gotta think about 30% of the population is black right? Add in the union people and you've got a hefty percentage, so if he's even got a 40% rating that equates to zero since the 40% that approve of the sucker are zero's.

Anyway, I voted republican because I was unhappy with this poor Bus Economy. At least that's what soon to be former governor Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania tells me.

Honestly, can you believe the BS they try to feed ? Beyond words...

On the economy, NO ONE is unhappy about the economy. If they're working, they don't give a damn, and if they aren't working, they're loving it because they are on indefinite Paid Vacation. And most of them are also living in Repo houses Rent Free.

No One.. is unhappy with the economy, except maybe those evil rich capitalists who are only making a billion a week instead of 2 billion a week by providing something the government doesn't - something we actually need or want.

Fredd ~ If only we bumpkins here in Flyover could understand what he reads off his teleprompters, we would love his policies of fiscal devastation...right?? Oh, the arrogance!

Impeachment proceedings are unlikely, but not impossible. The guy is a Chicago thug, and his involvement with the Sestak bribe would be the most likely avenue to pursue.

But you are essentially right on the money: fixing the economy would do the trick, too.

Those free houses are slowly drying up. Barney Frank's 'affordable housing' scheme has been exposed for the socialism it is, and we aren't going to take much more of it.

We'll see how this final death throe of the free housing scam (the moratorium on foreclosures) plays out.

I don't think the banks are in bed with Barney anymore.

As I've said previously, I hope they stay in this hopium-induced stupor.

If liberals really are so delusional that they truly believe their own BS, 2012 will be a crushing blow to them.

My professional recommendation to democrats is to keep talking like this, and be sure to keep Nancy Pelosi out in front.

I recommend daily televised lectures from her, the Organizer in Chief, and the rest of the internationale progressive intelligentsia.

All good recommendations, and I would also suggest to Nancy Pelosi that while she lectures us, she should wag her finger as well; it really helps bring home her point that we're all idiots for not liking socialism.

Fredd, What I'm saying is that (And this happened to the guy who bought our old house and he lived there 18 months rent free), people lose their jobs, are on unemployment, and or can't make their mortgage.

The last thing the banks want is to have those homes empty and targets for ransacking of the copper, etc. It's much better for them to have to people say in the houses (as grounds keepers) than let it go empty.

Those people could care less about he economy. A good economy is in fact their enemy because then they'd have to rejoin the working class. Suer many of them would like to rejoin the working class, but free rent indefinitely and a paid vacation thru unemployment benefits is a strong motivator.

This is why I believe hairy reid got re-elected. Lots if unemployed and repos in Nevada.

At the risk of sounding brash, I, in all of my hayseedism, am smarter than all of those elitist pigs in DC, President BO included.

Impeachment isn't going to happen.

Fredd~ Great post! I know exactly what you're saying. I did a similar post after his post election 'press conference.' You should see the string of comments from the Leftist faithful who still defend him. I guess some blindness is truly incurable.
